I used to title them as Landscape Number 1, etc. Now I enjoy playing with poetic titles.The gorge is a colorful, but dangerous place named after the Medusa, who turned men to stone if they looked her in the eye. She was killed years ago by Perseus. He cut off her head and placed it on Minerva's shield. I called it such because of it undulating crevasses"
I was born in 1938 in Oak Park, Illilois. I have been an artist and teacher since 1959.
I received a B.F.A. Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1960 and
a M.F.A. Degree from the University of Arkansas in 1963.
